We are so excited to be back with Season #3 of WellSeekers focused on rising and coming back from whatever life throws your way - using a holistic approach from the mind down!
Our first 6 weeks are dedicated to falling back into a better relationship with food. On today's show, Lucia is joined by Dr. Danica Harris to talk about ways to combat mental health side effects from having a chronic illness. Danica is a therapist in Dallas, TX who co-owns Empowered Healing Dallas, a private practice where she provides trauma-informed therapy using an interpersonal and attachment based approach. She also works as a Clinical Professor at Texas Woman’s University, in the Counseling Psychology Program. She is deeply invested in social justice efforts and destigmatizing mental health treatment, and utilizes her Instagram platform, @theempoweredtherapist to provide education and support to the broader community.
